Helukat helps businesses in Dubai plan, configure and install office telephone systems. Whether you are opening an office, moving premises or reviewing an existing PABX, start with how your team handles calls and the equipment already in use.
Request a PABX Installation Quote or call 04 343 3659 to discuss your office.
List the people and departments that need an extension, including reception, meeting rooms and shared desks. Separate the number of extensions from the number of calls you expect to handle at the same time. Include planned staff growth so the proposal can address your current requirements and possible expansion.
Describe the route an incoming call should follow. For example, should reception answer first, should several team members ring together, and what should happen outside working hours? Identify the transfer, conferencing, voicemail or other functions you need and ask which are included in the proposed system.
For an upgrade, provide the existing PABX make and model, telephone models, extension list and a description of any faults. Include available configuration records and details of the current telephone service. Equipment reuse should be assessed against the proposed setup rather than assumed from a brand name alone.
For an office move, share the new floor plan, desk locations and preferred changeover date. Agree how installation, configuration and testing will be coordinated with office access and your telephone service provider. Confirm any number or service changes directly with the provider before relying on them in the move plan.
Tell us whether you plan to retain existing desk phones or introduce different telephone equipment. Ask for compatibility to be checked across the proposed system, handsets and required calling features. For an IP-enabled proposal, include the existing network layout and any known connection or power arrangements that need review.
Where new outlets or cable routes are required, our structured cabling installation services can be discussed as part of the scope. If wireless calling devices are proposed, identify coverage concerns when reviewing office Wi-Fi requirements. You can also browse our ELV installation project gallery.
Ask the quotation to distinguish equipment, installation, cabling, configuration and optional functions. Confirm any licences, subscriptions or provider charges, together with exclusions and support arrangements. This makes it easier to compare the actual scope of different proposals.
Before the changeover, agree tests for the functions being supplied: incoming and outgoing calls, internal extensions, transfers, department routing and after-hours settings where included. Ask who will approve the configuration and how reception and other users will be shown the controls they need.
Keep an agreed extension directory and support contact. Ask how future user changes and configuration updates will be handled. Email your telephone-system requirements or send a PABX installation enquiry to arrange the next step.
Count individual users, shared areas and any meeting-room or reception phones. Include expected growth, and separately estimate how many calls need to run at the same time so both requirements can be reviewed.
Provide handset and PABX model numbers. Retaining equipment depends on its condition, compatibility with the proposed system and support for the functions your business needs.
Agree the extension list, call routes, installation access, testing and an acceptable interruption window. Coordinate any telephone-service or number changes with your provider and identify who will approve the completed setup.
Request a demonstration of the calling features included in your quotation, along with reception controls, the extension directory and support arrangements. Agree how users and schedules can be changed after installation.
